Fresh Picking

Hi Everyone, here is some information on places to pick fresh produce. This is not a complete list! If you have other places you have gone, please let me know. Let's collect a comprehensive list of places to pick in the area.

For Blueberries the prices are about the same wherever you go. I've heard good things about Blueberry Meadows or Chandler's. (He is a smaller backyard blueberry farmer.) There is a list of addresses at the end of the post for area blueberries farms. 

For Peaches there is The Peach Place on Electric Road which is off Hwy 34.  They are fairly expensive but their peaches are good and always tree ripe!

Twedt's off Hwy 20 is a good place and one of the cheapest to pick up produce.  (I've picked strawberries and raspberries with them.)

Gathering Together Farm in Philomath has really yummy produce but you'll pay the price for it because they are organic.

Detering Orchards 30946 Wyatt Dr. Harrisburg, OR Is a really huge fun farm with apples, peaches, pears etc.
